I'm so happy you're here! I'm Abby the founder and creator of Scarlet and Opal. I want to share a little bit about myself and how Scarlet and Opal came to be!

Born and raised here in the Pacific Northwest, I'm currently living and operating full time in Vancouver, Washington! I only really discovered how much I enjoyed polymer clay at the beginning of 2021, when I began to document some of my learning process on tiktok. I turned Scarlet and Opal into a business in April 2021 when I realized this was quickly becoming a passion. Polymer Clay was a new outlet for me to be creative, something I could spend hours on after my crazy 9-5. It has helped me learn and discover so much beauty in something as simple as clay. I absolutely love that I'm able to share these special hand crafted Jewelry with so many people around the world!

I became a mom last year, and I have a beautiful baby girl, who has been the biggest blessing but also a huge adjustment, trying to balance our first baby and this business. Thank you for your patience with me as I learn to navigate this new and exciting experience!
